HOBART coarse-grained regenerating dishwasher salt is specially formulated for your HOBART dishwasher. The salt fuels the water softener system inside your HOBART dishwasher. As water enters the appliance it is softened which reduces any white residue on glasses and allows the detergent to dissolve and work more effectively. All HOBART dishwashers have a salt reservoir which will require refilling over time – use the funnel provided to refill the salt and ensure the cap is replaced tightly. Not suitable for use with our external water softening systems. Please note: Table salt and sea salt must not be used as a replacement for dishwasher salt, these salts can provide adverse effects and potentially damage the dishwasher.
